300+ ways
We woke to another perfect weather day. Highs in the low 30s C (low 80s F), moderate humidity, light winds. The first load looked good and the second, with 362 jumpers aboard, looked even better.

The captains are feeling very confident with the performance at this early stage. The Royal Thai Air Force continues to fly flawlessly. We are almost ready for 400. Perhaps tomorrow? |

Tonight we should finally resolve the challenges remaining after yesterday’s AAD situation. Kai Koerner from Airtec arrived 27 hours later wih 28 Cypres units from Wunnenburg, Germany, to resupply us with AADs. The Cypreses will be returned to service at the factory, and cutters are on the way for the Vigils that activated. The riggers will be busy tonight at the hotel. Fortunately, we broke early after two loads with the C-130s, plus jumps from the G222 for the Alpha team, so we could prepare for a 6:00 meeting at the Charoen.
Tonight is a banquet at the Charoen Suites, around the corner from a beautiful Buddhist Monastery. It and the Charoen, a 15-minute walk away, are home for the skydivers here in Udon Thani.

The jumper injured in the exit accident on Monday is out of the hospital. We have been averaging a cutaway perhaps every 500 to 1,000 jumps (not official). But we’re making it to the ground safely.
