Briefings and meetings

The day started early for the Team Captains, as they had a meeting at 9. As this meeting lasted over 5 hours I can only assume that it was productive :-)

 

  
         
 
 
 
 

 
  Some of the sectors had meetings as well, but since most of us had a free morning and afternoon, many took the oppertunity to go sight-seeing again.  
 
 

There were still some skydivers arriving today, so the hard-working ladies of the welcoming and registry committee were not quite done yet. Great job ladies!

 

  
         
 
 
 
         

Then we had the welcoming briefing. Here, the organisers, staff, pilots, sector captains, judges, camerateam and everyone else that has made WT2006 possible were introduced. Some statistics: this time we have jumpers from 31 nations, with jump numbers ranging from 620 to 22.000, with 49 people having been on all five World Teams. We also now have more staff and support personal than the number of skydivers during the first World Records!
 
 
 
 
 

And now, we have to pack our bags and get ready for the flight to Ubon tomorrow morning. We'll be flying in C130's, a DC3 and Airbusses, all provided by RTAF.
