Hooking up the oxygen
The A/C starts working

One of the pilots

The first jump today we build a 312 person formation out of 358 skydivers. Not too bad with a base funnel, but a lot of people seemed to be rushing to grips instead of flying their slots.
Sector 2 was complete before breakoff per the judges, as were sectors 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

The second jump was planned before lunch, but after the first three airplanes had taken off the fourth couldn't. It was too late to switch the jumpers to the backup-plane while the other three remained in the air, since the backup plane had no oxygen system installed yet. So the other three had to come back down again. They got to 6500 feet before they got the "we're landing" signal.

When the backup-plane was ready, after lunch, we tried again. Unfortunately, the backup plane didn't work either!! So again, three planes up - this time they only got to 1500 ft - and then it was three planes down again.

Right now it is raining (or to be more precise, pouring!) so that was the end of today's jumps...
