The second day is still Arrival day for a number of skydivers.
But in the morning we have the briefing for the Mass Jump given by BJ. The dropzone is a large field right in front of the Royal Palace. Hopefully the winds will be from the north tomorrow, so that the set landing direction - across the length of the field and away from the palace - will be into the wind. The available outs are a football field and the river. Not many outs!
After the briefing we are given the opportunity to go and see the DZ. A lot of skydivers do, so there is a whole group exploring the local public transportation for the first time. The air cars work great, they get you where you want to be fast without getting stuck in the local heavy traffic. The rest of the way we took either a taxi or a Tuk-Tuk, which is a kind of motorcycle with 3 backseats attached. That was a real experience! Whoever said skydiving was dangerous should try this!
In the afternoon there is a press-conference. Unfortunately the Avian Flue has gotten really serious today so a number of press representatives went to that press-conference instead, but still, a good turn-out.
