Selection Team - Tasks and Responsibilities

Selection Team members have one of the most challenging tasks of all World Team Leaders. Hundreds and hundreds of very experienced and highly talented skydivers apply to become members of World Team. It is the Selection Team’s responsibility to evaluate the skills, experience, currency, and attitude of all applicants, and determine who is the most qualified to perform the tasks required to set a new world record.

These evaluations are based on the Selection Team’s personal knowledge about the applicants, as well as from input they receive from the applicants themselves, from sector captains, from other World Team Leaders, and from many additional experts in the international skydiving community.

The Selection Team takes its responsibility very seriously, as does everyone who participates in this selection process.  This concerted effort will produce the strongest skydiving team ever assembled to build a large freefall formation world record.
