Will there be an Alpha Team in 2010?
Not exactly. There will be a group of highly skilled skydivers assembled as the “Wings Team,” who will be full members of World Team ’10. The Wings Team members are scheduled to make the same number of skydives as the other members of World Team ’10. They will jump as a team through the 252-way sequential dives, and be waiting in the wings to provide replacements, if necessary, during these dives.

The Wings Team will participate on all of the test/rehearsal dives after the sequential record dives. The Dive Director, in collaboration with the Sector Captains, will invite specific skydivers to join the Wings Team. Scott Latinis and Todd Hawkins, the Alpha Team Captains for World Team’11, will lead the Wings Team.
