In collaboration with the Thai Organizing Committee, the World Team Organizing Committee is responsible for coordinating all World Team '06 activities, to ensure a safe and successful Royal Sky Celebration.

Long before the World Team event dates in Thailand, the World Team Organizing Committee selects Team Leaders for each formation Sector, and Staff for each World Team sub-committee and team. The WTOC works closely with these talented individuals, overseeing all aspects of the World Team organization, including participant selection and registration, dive design, pre-event rehearals, RTAF pilot interface, sponsorship, media and public relations, accommodation, food, logistical, and other support services, and makes all preparations necessary for World Team to function effectively through the Royal Sky Celebration.  On site, the WTOC is responsible for directing all World Team activities.

Prior to and throughout the World Team '06 - Royal Sky Celebration event, the World Team Staff is responsible for conducting administrative, logistical, technical, and other support activities for all members of World Team on behalf of the World Team Organizing Committee.
