World
Team is heading back to Amazing Thailand to set two new world
records in 2006! Once again, the world's largest international
team of athletes will focus its talents on a goal united, and
add another
stellar chapter to air sports history. The Royal Thai Air Force
and the Kingdom of Thailand are extremely pleased to welcome
World Team back to the Land of Smiles. For its part, World
Team is thrilled to have this opportunity to honor the 60th Anniversary
of His Majesty's ascension to the throne in a very big way.
The
World Team Philosophy: The
whole is greater than the sum of its parts
Accomplishing
World Team objectives requires teamwork and a philosophy of working
toward team goals, rather than individual ones. While no one
person is entirely irreplaceable during the preparation stages of
World Team '06 - Royal Sky Celebration, every participant
is indispensable to, and responsible for, its success once we are
on site. Even if all team members cannot personally be on
all the world record dives, setting new world records will be a
collective victory for the entire Team. World Team '06 will
be thus united in its effort to achieve its goals. By registering
to participate, every team member commits to this philosophy of
teamwork.
The
World Team '06 Goal
World
Team's goal is to set at least two new skydiving world records,
and to strive to represent the international skydiving community
as first-class ambassadors to our host nation of Thailand.
